What We’re About
My father was recently diagnosed with dementia. Thankfully, he has a loving family—myself included—doing our best to care for him, even though we started with very little knowledge.
Like many families, we’ve struggled to navigate the professional help available here in Australia. It’s confusing, often overwhelming, and sometimes feels like we’re piecing together a puzzle without the picture on the box.
This website was born from that experience.
Our aim is simple: to gather the information, services, and resources we’ve found helpful and make them freely available—to make the path clearer for the next family who finds themselves where we were.
We’re not a business. We won’t ask you for money.
Dementia Care Help began on 06/06/2025, and while it’s still growing, we hope it becomes a helpful, comforting space for you and others on this journey.
